Sound is lower from Bush Freesat device

Has anyone experienced quieter sound when viewing through a standalone Freesat box when connected via HDMI?  I have just recently purchased the sony Bravia TV 32inch.  I love the picture quality.  I have connected the TV to my Hi Fi to improve the richness of the sound.  But, I noticed that the sound is much quieter when viewing through the Bush FreeSat HD than if watching Bravia internet or its own built in freebox.  Is this a compatibility issue, because its Bush?   I have tried settings, sound, hdmi and changed to HDMI input rather than the default setting, but it made no difference.  I would value other users opinions.

Hi

While you watching the source from Freesat box, increase the VOLUME OFFSET under the sound setting for your TV.

Regards
