Hi everyone!
I live in Banja Luka, a city in Bosnia and Herzegovina and here I bought my new TV. Now I have a problem with it which is anoying me more and more every day...
My tv KDL-32BX420 is showing wrong time (and sometimes date too). Time and date are shown in middle top part of the screen and is visible when changing (tuning) programs. The tv doesn't have any settings for date or time, so I can't manualy change them. What can I do? Does anyone have similar problem?
Thanks in advance!
Hi,
i believe your tv has been set up incorrectly at the beginning for example wrong region, thats why the time and date is wrong.
do a factory re set of the tv and follow the instructions again paying particular attention to the region setting.
Hi Majchy,
I think if you want hide the time display on the screen , you may press many times on the information button on the remote control "i" until it disappear
I just did factory reset and chose Croatia (nearest country to B&H), and now the date is all wrong, besides time. It shows 25. Oct. 21:37. The time here is 19:47...
I better give up on this, right?
@ KDL-CX520
I don't want to hide time, I want to see it... But it shows the wrong time, as I explained.
Hell no! giving up is for quitters!, theres a simple explanation here somewhere, your bang smack in the middle of sarajevo so does that not come up in the time zones?
we are missing the point somewhere, do you have a dealer out there that can advise you further?.
Yes, I will contact the dealer, but I doubt that will be helpful... If I don't find a solution myself, noone will
Except maybe for some smart people around here
Thank you Bravia55HX923!
Hi,
I think the solution of your problem already mentioned in your manual
http://pdf.crse.com/manuals/4270481121.pdf
Go tp page 32 , it is mentioned under "Technical set-up" > “Time Zone”:
Allows you to manually select the time zone you are in, if it is not
the same as the default time zone setting for your country/region.
Oh I did that, but it shows me different times for different programs. For example, on Chanel 1 time is 19:35, on Chanel 4 21:35.On some it is correct. It doesn't make sence... At all... I tried a lot of things, I'm not a complete dummy, but can't figure out exactly what the tv uses to display time? If I new that... I would know what to doo..
Thanks anyway...
Hi again,
well that depends on what you use to recieve broadcasts, if you are using an aerial then the transmitter from where you recieve the signal sends out the relevant information, just a guess as i really dont know what you have out there.
