Sony KDL-40CX523 - turn off remote beep

Hopefully someone can help, I'm trying to turn off the 'beep' noise that happens when using the remote on my CX523... any ideas, i've had a good scout of the settings, but can't find anything obvious.

Thank you for posting your question @Sony forum

In model CX520 (almost similar to CX523) I use the below steps

menu (Home) > sound > scroll down until Key Tone > change the setting to OFF

Try this..

Go to the Home menu..

Then browse to Settings..

Followed by Sound..

In the Sound menu click on Key Tone..

Select “Off” to turn off the sound and this should also turn off the TV start-up sound..
