SONY BRAVIA KLV-40R352E SCREEN HAS A BLACK SPOT

KLV-40R352E was purchased with a one year warrenty on 11-09-2019.  However, when used, the color lines were turned off and the TV turned off.  It acted again.  When this happens, a black spot has appeared.  Sri Lanka Singer says warrenty is now invalid.  But they did not test the television.  Can't waste $ 470. We still use a 13 year old 29" TV in our home with no repairs. 

So what can we do with your trust in us?
