Sony Bravia 32RE400 - Help!!

Help please?

Was watching the TV no problem - then the sound just cut out.

Now, the TV is stuck on one channel only and, whilst the LED flashes when I press some buttons on the remote, nothing happens.

Cant even turn the damn thing off!  Have un-plugged the power from the socket but even when it is left for half an hour and then plugged back in, the same channel appears, with no sound and the remote not doing anything but flashing the LED.

At a complete loss as to what has happened and what to do.

Any ideas - anyone????
