Sony 55XE8596 has sound but no picture

My TV stopped working the other day...it has sound but no picture.  Anyone know if this could be down to a button on the remote being pressed??  Not sure what to do to fix it.  I have a receipt that states that it is still under Sony Guarantee so it should be covered if it is something else.

Hi Lozzerd,

Can you please restart the TV by Holding down the green Power button on the remote for more than 5 seconds.

If the picture doesn't come back please get in touch with support.

Also, try unplugging all external devices and keep the TV unplugged from the mains for a minute before trying again.
