Problem with KDL-40z5500 and upgrade 1.750EA?

After the last upgrade (1.750EA), my Bravia seems to stack for a moment, when I change channels, not to have infos for the channel, displays some crashed images of the program and finaly starts to play normally.

try doing a factory re set then re tune the unit and see if it clears the problem.

I did as you said but the problem remains.

The signal strength  is O.K. and the problem started just after I upgraded to 1.750EA.

Any other ideas? (Other than upgrade bug?)

yes, you may need to contact Sony support in your country for further advice.

Looks like i read about the same problem many time over the forum few weeks ago , but i am not sure was it for same model or another. That mean you are not alone

In case this is a common problem with many customers, sure Sony are aware about it, and they will solve it soon in next update...just be patient ...and thank you for the feedback

I face the same problem in my 40W5500 and I wrote about in the forum two weeks ago..I hope SONY take action to resolve the said problem.

Unfortunately I didn't read your msg. before I installed the 1.750EA firmware  update to my Sony KDL- 52W5500. Now I have the same problem described by you:smileysad:

I hope that there will be a new updated version available soon. If it was possible, I would install the version I had before I "upgraded" with 1.750EA.
