Hej rlundin! Welcome to the Sony forum.

I tried these out at IFA and as a glasses user also, that was my original concern when putting them on but I have to say, they have enough clearance for glasses so putting them on and taking them off was not as bad as I expected.

There is an adjustment slider to help compensate so you get the best sharpness so everyone can enjoy them.

You just need to make sure that your glasses are put on properly and they do not sit too far forward on your nose as the 3D viewer sits there too. Overall, it was a really good experience.

Hi,

this new tech is unlikely to be suitable for those wearing glasses as the design sits right up close to your eyes, the only way i can see these being remotely comfortable is if you are able to wear contact lenses, that aside these new 3D offerings are likely to be expensive and not available till the end of the year.

i've been browsing all the reviews i can since discovering this device was going to be released and only one of the reviewers mentioned glasses. he didn't have any problem wearing glasses at the same time which i found reassuring because it's a very important issue.

providing a slider to focus on the screens is all very well and will obviate the need for glasses with most spectacle wearers, but i, along with many other glass wearers, have astigmatism and focussing does nothing to correct for that.

i asked sony if they might provide a service for grinding lenses to prescription to fit into the HMZ-T1 for us less fortunate users (contact lenses really don't address the issue very well though they are available for astigmatics and I don't want to put anything in contact with my cornea anyway thank you). as usual, there has been no answer.

looks like we'll just have to live with wearing glasses whether they're optimal with this device or not.

And one more thing. Why do thet cost 800$ in the US and almost 1300$ in Sweden. Both prizes in sony.com and sony.se
