I bought a bdp- 370 to see HD on my Bravia. Now I miss the 5.1 sound I had with DVD. I have an old system from my DVD player. I replaced the cheap speakers with Rogers LS3/5A monitors (BBC spec. small room moitors) in front, and mid-price bookshelf hi-fi speakers (rear). The amplifier is analogue only, RCA/phono.
can I get a new 5.1 receiver/amplifier. Or replace the system. The Gadget show liked the ADV-E370 system but that comes with a BD player. Should I consider 7.1? Can 7.1 movies be played in 5.1?
