Hello!
I have faced with a problem: every video I take by the camera Samsung WB650 (regardless to the video quality), which is always mp4 format, can't be properly played on my KDL-40NX800. Such an unpleasant result occurs both when a video is played from a camera connected to TV directly via a USB, and when it is played from a USB-Flash
How will you comment on this? How do I solve this problem?
Thanks.
Use the free software Mediainfo to analyze the videocodec of your videos. Than check if the TV supports it. This TV supports MPEG1, MPEG 4 Simple Profile, AVCHD. DivX / XviD etc are not supported.
My videos' format is MPEG-4, with a Profile Format Sony PSP ( PSP ?!)
So, Simple profile is not a Sony PSP profile and therefore my problem occurs?
These are all supported video formats:
MP4(AVC/H.264):
720X480 AC3 5.1ch NTSC
720x480 AC3 2ch NTSC
720x480 AC3 5.1ch PAL
720x480 AC3 2ch PAL
with extention .mp4
MPEG1
640x480 MPEG1
320x240 MPEG1
with extention .mpg
AVCHD with extentions .m2ts or .mts
Hi I believe the PSP uses a 320 x 240 video, this would be very poor quality on a 40" TV.
You see, in case it was poor quality, it would be played on my TV fluently. But it is played in fits and starts, like the quality was extremely high...
My supposition: can it be so that TV processor slows down while reading (decoding) specifically this mp4-format?
