lamp replacement

I have a sony bravia KDF-E50A12U tv, I have had the lamp replaced about 2 and a half weeks ago now i turned on the tv this morning the picture and sound is coming on but them its going into standby mode after about 30 to 60 seconds and the green light flashes red 3 times does anyone know what this means, could it be a faulty lamp??

Hi,

it appears your hitting a run of bad luck, this looks like the over voltage protection circuit has kicked in or its also known to be a power supply circuit problem and will need a service technician to look at it.

hi the tv is switching on and there is a picture and sound but its on roughly for 30 to 60 seconds then its going into standby mode and the green light is flashing red 3 times again, is this the same problem
