When tuned to some digital channels owners of this tv set experienced a brief (about one second) interruption of the picture and sound when the scene changed, between programs and commercials, or between commercials. This might also occur during either programs or commercials.
As I face the same problem with my Bravia, I would like to know if the American firmware update is compatible to the European version of the tv. Has anybody tried this firmware update to KDL-40X4500? If so, kindly inform me if the brief interruptions of the picture are over and if any problems appeared after the update.
