kdl-40cx523bu - linked to PC via HDMI cable worked, then stopped. Why?

kdl-40cx523bu - linked to PC via HDMI cable. It worked first time I tried it with TV selecting HDMI 2. Now only AV1 has the select indicator and I am not using that. HDMI Setup is all set to ON but HDMI Device List is empty. I go in and enable it, message says the command is being sent, then I get No Devices Detected. I have reconnected the cable several times but to no avail. What has gone wrong?

Hi,

you may check the setting of PC video card under its driver configuration , it should be HDMI is ON, refer to the PC manual for details.

To confirm if it is the problem of TV or PC , try connect the same cable to another input source (PS3 or Blu-ray) and check the results

Everything seemed to be in order and still the connection would not work. I took out the cable, switched all off, reinstated the cable, switched on and it worked. Thanks for your help.
