Just bought the above tv ( which Sony doesn't recognise on line even though bought from their store) and when I select Skype it says you need a camera and microphone connected ( which it is). It then reverts back to tv picture. Connection to the internet os ok. Any info would be welcome. Thanks.

The above post has been marked as correct answer, does that mean you have solved your problem.?
If so which of the points above helped.?
Yes, Have just done the latest firmware upgrade. I thought it might be that I needed a Sony Camera (at £89).
I'm just about to check to see if I need a Sony hard disk drive for recording.
Delighted for jaelsto44's success. Can anybody please tell me if I can do the same on my KDL-52Z4500 and connect to Skype?
