Is SU-B401S compatible with KDL-40NX710?

I was gifted a SU-B401S but I own KDL-40NX710. I tried to attach it but the mounting just does not fit.

I saw SU-B400S is compatible with KDL-40NX710. So what should i do next?

the SU-B401S Monolith Stand is only compatible with the KDL-40NX72x series of TV's and it says it should not be installed on other products.
