My TV is KDL-40EX523.
Recently we, in this area {Oxford},have been changed to all Digital signals.
Everything is running fine except for a niggling tab that comes up each time I select BBC 1.
The tab tells me that this channel is available on HD,I know this, and invites me to select yes or no.
When I select yes it takes me to a Channel no. 999 which of course tells me no signal and I then have to select the correct channel which in this area is 50,and where I obtain an excellent signal.
Has anyone any ides how I can correct this, preferably getting rid of the tab?

As you've recently changed over to digital, I suspect that the instruction to display the tab originates from the BBC, and will probably stop soon. Failing that make sure the firmware on the TV is up to date, either via the internet(if it's connected) or download it onto a usb pen drive from here:
and follow the instructions on the same page.
Good luck with it, let us know how you get on for the benefit of anyone else with similar probs.
