How to turn off CC

We have a Bravia KDL-50W (not sure if 82, 81 xB )and a RM-ED058 remote control and the buttons on the remote are obviously different from the later model. We have to revert from Virgin Media to Freeview TV from time to time and we cannot find the button on this remote control to turn off CC. There is no CC button. We also need to sync voice with picture and cannot find how to do this either. Any advice would be much appreciated!

Regarding sound adjustment please check the sound settings for such option.
