How do I get the EPG on the KDL40HX703U to list only favourites?

I cannot find any way, having set up my favourites list, to use it so EPG only shows my favourites! In fact I cannot see what I can use the favourites list for at all! It appears to be pointless!

The only way to do that would be to simply delete the channels you don't want to see in the epg. I think you can do that as part of the digital setup.

I think favourites function simply gives you the ability to shortcut to different inputs as well as channels e.g. iPlayer,  HDMI 1, ITV3 etc etc. It gives more flexibility than the basic epg which is only for freeview channels..
