Help please, no sound ??????

Hi, does Saorview sound work on the Sony Bravia model KDL-32S2010 using HDMI cable ? The set top box is good (works on a Panasonic) and the HDMI cable is good. Perfect picture but no sound. Any ideas ?????

No reason why it shouldn't as it will just display what it's being sent via the STB. Have you tried any other HDMI devices to see if it's a constant issue thought?

Thanks Catmambo, I haven't tried any other devices but plan to connect a laptop to the TV using the HDMI cable and see if I get sound that way.
