HDMI control of BD lost when DVI PC in HDMI 4 (kdl32ex403 )

I have a Sony BD in hdmi 1 and this recognised and controllable via sych and hdmi device control (auto on etc) until I plug my PC into hdmi 4 (using dvi-hdmi lead). The PC uses an ATI video card

Once the PC is attached any attempt at using hdmi device control from the TV fails, and the scan for devices from the setup menu fails to find any devices.

If I unplug the PC lead from HDMi 4, the BD in HDMI 1 all works automatically

Is the above expected behaviour?

Yes, becouse of  using dvi-hdmi lead. However, when You use using dvi-hdmi lead, it is recomanded to connect it to HDMI 3.
