I have a BT Home Hub 2.0 and a wired ethernet to my Sony TV. This TV will not connect to the internet either automatically or with manual settings. It has been connected before but has at some point broken that connection and now will not reconnect. The on screen message I get is that the TV is not connected and I should check cables. I have done this and the cables and connections are all good. ( I also have a Sony Blu Ray that has connected effortlessly).
Can anyone help please - Sony support abandoned me after escalating my problem a couple of times.

Hmm..you haven't explained why you are looking to connect the TV to the web as there isn't a huge amount of Internet functionality on this particularl model. Not sure of your Blu-ray device but that might offer greater functionality anyway?
