I tried a Samsung 3D TV the other day. I noticed that there was a similar viewing experience to using the Sony 3D glasses with the extra filters attached to the front. In other words the strobing effect was noticeable with the lights in the shop but there was less flicker and less problem with head tilt causing ghosting. I wondered whether some manufacturers have chosen to build in the extra filters at the expense of more flickering caused with certain lighting?
