Hi All,
I have a KDL-46HX903, I got the TDG-BR100 glasses, and the transmitter. I have the TV connected to a PS3 using a HDMI 1.4a cable. But, I can't seem to get 3D to work! I have connected the PS3 via the HDMI cable to port 2 on the TV, as HDMI port 1 got damaged and will not accept a signal anymore. Am I right in thinking at 3D signals should be able to be received though any of the HDMI ports on the TV and not only port 1?
Hi,
to tell the truth i have always used HDMI 1, but theres no reason for the others not to work, whats interesting here is you diid not mention whether you have updated the PS3 to play 3D also if you played a 3D blu ray in the player, i cannot vouch for the PS3 but my blu ray player plays 3D and sets the tv as such.
confirm the two points i raised also (this is not a trick question) if you have charged the glasses and turned them on prior to watching your movie.
PS3 is all up to date and I was watching a 3D blu-ray (Ocean Wonderland). Your comment about when to turn on the glasses was useful. I also found a thread that mentioned to allow the TV 2 minutes to re-assign the HDMI port. Both these things combined seem to have solved the issue and I enjoyed my first 3D experience, and I was very impressed.
Could you advise me how I would go about ordering a new A/V interface board the one with the HDMI port1, as I can see the benefit of ARC?

Hi again,
best thing you can do if the tv is fairly new is to get that fixed under warranty, the ARC channel is not such a big issue if you know your way round it, i have my blu ray wired to a home cinema amp via digital coaxial and will be doing the tv soon with a digital optical. ARC only cuts down on the amount of cables on your system and unless you have a home cinema system that supports ARC its not nessessary. see the thread below.
