Can you add Apps like ITV Hub and All4 to smart TV?

Hi there, 

This may be a stupid question but can you add new Apps to your Sony TV? I have the Bravia KDL-40WD653.

It already has BBC iplayer on there, Youtube and a couple of others, but there's no option to add anything else? I registered the TV online as I thought it may be something you can manage from the account but again I can't see any options to add anything. 

Any help would be much appreciated!

Not all apps are on there. A good way to add apps is using an external device like a Firestick or Chromecast.

Hi we have a Sony Bravia KD-49xf8796, it's less than a year old but We are unable to find or download apps like all 4 or itv hub which I know are available from play store as I have them on other android devices. You view is also enabled. 

Please advise 

Secondly within the guide the youview only allows us to filter by HD and Radio. Previously we had more options such as children and news etc. How do we get these added?

This is an Android model, so these apps should be part of the YouView feature by default. Do you have the latest software version installed on your TV?
