Bravia kdl26s2010 hdmi connection problem

Hello - I have the above TV and have just tried to connect a Bluray player using the hdmi connections - get absolutely nothing. No sound or picture or error messages. Player and cable work with other TV. Any clues?

Try to plug in other HDMI in and if not try other HDMI cable.
