Best picture settings

hi

i have a Sony KDL46NX713 and as i dont really want to spend £20 on a calibration disk i wanted to know what settings other guys have used to get the best possible picture for this tv.

Hi,

every room setting will be different and you dont need to spend money on these discs, if your cunning enough you can find a torrent for one on the net however you wont need to, look at your dvd and blu ray collection and find one with the THX logo on it, you will find a THX optimiser on that to calibrate your tv with in the menu on the disc, examples are Terminator 2 or any Star Wars discs.

just load the discs, click on the optimiser and follow the instructions.

i have a decent picture at the moment but as you probably know yourself we always want to try to get it better.

Hi,

before you do that, make a note of the settings your on now, then do the optimiser, if you dont like it (unlikely) then you can always put it back where you were before, but my guess is you will be surprised!.
