AVI files not recognized ? ! ?

AVI files not recognized by my KDL-46EX710  ! ! !

Not from PC lan-cable ,  nor from USB  ! ! !

Is there a FIX coming up soon  ? ! ?

Hi,

the only "fix" comes as a recommended media server called serviio.

I tried serviio ,  but it dont show subtitles . . .

you did not mention subtitles in your first post, the subs need to be the same name as the subject with .srt after it, even then theres no guarantee it would work.

I have just set Serviio up for the first time. Impressed so far. Appears to have a low impact on the performance of my laptop when I use it at the same time.

I put the AVI & SRT as needed (even in a seperate directory) - but no subtitles are shown  . . .

Is this the BRAVIA fault or is there anything i can do ?
