My Cedar displays letter 'H' icon in upper level of the screen and I know its for 3G. But videos and demonstrations show some '3G' icon instead of 'H'. what is the difference between these two? Is it customised by local mobile networks? Thanxx!!!

The "H" stands for HSDPA and the "G" stands for UMTS, these are simply different signal types however you will get a faster data transfer speed when you are picking up the HSDPA signal type.
