Is there any way to improve the resolution of id picture I assign to a contact. The default resolution when phone ringing/calling is quite low but in contact folder is ok (high resolution).

Hmmmm .... Maybe there are some steps missing during the process?! Anyway, just to confirm, do the following. De-active sync, create a NEW contact to PHONE CONTACTS (make sure anything related to this contact is removed from PHONE and GOOGLE CONTACTS in your phone). Attach GOOD picture to PHONE CONTACT, now test whether you can get a good quality picture. If you can't, obvious reason is that there is a bug (?) with Android 2.1. However, if you can, you should re-visit the procedure/steps on my earlier suggestion. Update me the result once you have done that. Good luck.

It's a bug. I even re-flashed my phone and didn't sync anything just add the contact and took a picture but same issue.

No way! Everything is the same. It`s a bug, definitely. There`s no problem vith android 1.6.

Sad story, I guess it is indeed. Hopefully there will be an OS upgrade (?) to resolve this issue.
