Try to clear data for Walkman player under settings > apps > all > Walkman > clear data. Restart phone and try again.
If you still experience problem I suggest that you free as much RAM memory you can in the phone, swipe recent used apps to the side, don't use live wallpaper and remove some widgets from the home screen. Try again.

Hi, have you tried repairing phone software with PC Companion or Update Service?

Be aware that this process will erase phone data completely, backup if necessary.
