Xperia L1 lost icons
I've had this phone for a few years, and it does all I need.
Please be patient with me, I find mobile phone setup difficult!!
However I have recently noticed an app icon has disappeared.
If I go into settings/apps, the app is listed.
So how do I get the icon back to the home screen??
When I searched online I found the manual and in that it said to tap on the APP icon (2 rows of 3 dots), but this icon is also missing!!
And to all those thinking, it could be the user! they are probably right
Thanks
Steve

If it is present, try holding down the App and pay attention to the display, somewhere, at the top for example, an area with a colored background may appear with the words: Add to Home screen (or something similar).

Hi M.M
Thanks for the reply.
NO, 'APP' is not visible in the 'ALL apps'
Also not visible on the home screen, or any left or right.
Thanks

"However I have recently noticed an app icon has disappeared."
Not from the Settings MENU but among the Apps, find the one whose icon you no longer have on HOME and hold down on it, you should be able to drag it to HOME or a MENU should appear through which you can choose to have it on HOME ...

Thanks Again.
How do I get to the apps you refer to?
My understanding is that I need the 'APP' icon (2 rows of 3 dots) yes?
This is also missing.

Press on Apps (at the bottom, round icon with six dots), you will see your Apps, hold down on the one you want on HOME and, drag it to HOME or choose to have it on HOME.

Try to keep pressed in a point without icons or widgets of the HOME, the image should "shrink" and you should be able to choose Settings6della HOME from which you can also get the round icon with the six points that leads to the App. But in his absence, you should also help with a vertical slide.

When I press and hold on the home screen, it shrinks and at the bottom 6 additional icons appear
Widgets/Wallpaper/Themes/Transition/grid/settings.
Selecting settings opens a new screen,

List displayed:

App recommendations (off)
Search
Auto-rotation (off)
Double-tap to sleep (off)
Enable swipe-up (on)
Icon size (default)

Remove Duplicates (on)

Which of these should I chose/change?
