Unplayable MKV format

My BDP-S185 cannot play some MKV files.

Is there somebody to explain what parameter is unacceptable for the player?

Hi, i need a little help. I have same problems  with szendmen : "My BDP - 185 cannot play some MKV file......what parameter is unacceptable for this player?"  . Thx a lot.

I have this problem with my BDP-S185 too. It certainly claims to support .mkv, but the .mkv files I have on USB stick (which play perfectly okay on my laptop) do not play. The message is 'Unsupported or corrupt file type'. They're definately not corrupt. Any help greatly appreciated.
