I've just tried the first software upgrade on my Sony BDP S350 bluray player.
I keep getting the message "Ext memory in the EXT jack on rear of unit not recognised. Check ext memory, turn the power off, then on again".
The LAN cable is definitely plugged into the the LAN socket not the EXT socket but turning off and on makes no difference.
Does anyone have any ideas?
