Connecting Sony Bravia KDL-32L4000 to a Sony sound-bar ht-sf150

I have a Sony Bravia KDL-32L4000 which has the following HDMI, digital audio output (optical). 

I bought a Sony sound-bar ht-sf150 which has HDMI™(ARC),Optical-audio inputs.

How can I connect the two? I thought I could link the digital audio (optical) to the optical output but how?

Can anyone please help me with what to do?

Hi Annie

Since the TV doesn’t support the ARC function and doesn’t have an optical port, I believe both devices can’t be connected.

The soundbar you should be looking for to work with your TV must have either a 3.5mm connection or a phono jack.
