Hi!
Uda-1 connect with usb cable to the HAP-Z1ES and doesn't convert the DSD files (different size or format), just 192 khz and lower files.
(uda-1 and vaio with dsd works perfect!)
Why?
What is the problem and what is the solution?
Please, answer this.
Thanks.
R.
uh HAP-Z1ES=> UDA-1 =>Audio?
why woudl you do that? HAP-Z1ES audio board is milestone better than UDA-1!
but to output DSD from HAP-Z1ES you have to enable the feature in the setting menu. Maybe it's off by default
Yes, I know this.
But simetimes I use the Z7 headphone.
I enabled Dsd output, so I don't understand this problem.
Rather, the fact is that it doesn't work...this bothers
Here is the problem:
Uda-1 compatible with Dsd 2.8 MHz...
I can only think that Sony is intentionally restricting the connection between the two devices, is that possible?
Hey Sonyaudio1, The USB DAC AMPLIFIER can play High-Resolution Audio files such as PCM 192 kHz/32 bit and DSD (Direct Stream Digital) audio files. so it is supported.
ok but the feature still doesn't work with UDA-1
but the Dsd output works with PHA-3
UDA-1 + notebook perfect with Dsd.
I am clueless
@Sonyaudio1, tbh the devices are ancient and I'm not sure why this is happening, try troubleshooting both devices and see the outcome:

Stupid question but are you using the rear USB port from USA-1?
from your device list you better use PHA-3 and its balanced output with Z7 ^^ better than UDA-1
