WH-1000XM3 stereo problem

Dear sir/madam,
I bought Bluetooth earphones type WH-1000XM3
When I connect them to my computer, using Bluetooth, the stereo doesn't work, so the quality of the sound is very blurred and not sharp.
I have already tried to remove the device and install it again a number of times, but still it doesn't work well.
Please instruct me how to operate the stereo of the earphones in order to improve the sound quality.

Hi Adiblanga,

I think this may be more related to the application you're using or to the specs of your computer. Do you find issues when using the headphones with your phone?

As an extra step, you can try resetting the headphones as mentioned here: https://helpguide.sony.net/mdr/wh1000xm3/v1/en/contents/TP0001703081.html

Hi.
Unfortunately, it still doesn't work.
The stereo works well with my phone, but not with my computer.
What else can I do to fix it?

Hi,

This confirms that the issue is mainly with your computer. I don't really know what could be the cause. Have you tried connecting other headphones to the computer?

Yes. I have also JBL headphones and their stereo functions well with my
computer. That is why I believe that the problem is not with my computer,
but with the Sony headphones.

Hey,

That's strange, do you find the same issue if you connect the Sony headphones to another computer then?

Hi.
No. The stereo works well when I connect the headphones to my laptop.
Only with my PC the stereo doesn't work. However, with my old JBL
headphones, the stereo functions well even when connected to my PC.
Very frustrating....

@adiblanga Your computer has Wi-Fi, can you disable it and then try the headphones?

Yes, I have Wi-Fi. I disabled it, but unfortunately the stereo still refuses to work.

Anyway, thank you all for trying to help. I appreciate it.

You talk about "PC" and "Stereo", the PC will be a desktop I guess, which Bluetooth transmitter are you using? It could be a problem with Codec (Audio Coding Algorithm) or Sound settings in the PC.

Also, try this too:

https://helpguide.sony.net/mdr/wh1000xm3/v1/en/contents/TP0001703155.html

When listening to music from a computer on the headset, the sound quality may be poor (e.g., difficult to hear the singer's voice, etc.) for the first few seconds after a connection is established.
This is due to the computer specifications (prioritizes communication at the start of transmission and then switches to prioritizing audio quality several seconds later) and is not a headset malfunction. If the sound quality does not improve after a few seconds, lightly double-tap the touch sensor control panel of the headset (about 0.4-second intervals).
