Hi Bluedog,

Is the sound bar connected via ARC? Can you give me more details about the whole connection map?

Hi,
My sound bar is connected to the Tv via bluetooth.
Sorry to be vague but im not tech savvy and this has completely thrown me .

My Sony DVD player is connected via a HDMi into an empty Tv port.

The picture is always there but never any sound. Iv tried turning the
sound bar off completely and changing the TV speakers to Tv only. rather
than audio.
Im stuck ! Ive tried you tubing the problem with no help either.... Not
sure wether to try a new HDMI cable ?

Many thanks

Hi Bluedog,

I'd recommend trying different types of connections like HDMI cable or optical cable if available and test it to identify the cause of the problem.

Also, make sure that the speakers on your TV are set to Audio system not TV speakers in the speaker settings.
