After 4 weeks and numerous phone calls to sony support in Egypt,Yes you heard me right in Egypt i have got absolutely nowhere.Sony Egypt have been answering my emails in the German language.I have re-registered my lens as requested by Sony Egypt and when i last re-registered the lens i was given an activation code for the extended warranty by Sony which i forwarded to Sony Egypt only to be told that it was the wrong code.What a bunch of Cowboys.After spending over £5000 sterling i would have expected a better after care service.SHAME ON YOU SONY.

I'm sure it must be frustrating for something like warranty registration to take that much time, but I'm also sure you probably know that calling people " a bunch of Cowboys " isn't polite, as well as the fact that whatever delay there is, it's not due to the people trying to help are based in Egypt or anywhere else for that matter. To say the least and doesn't go well with the Sony Community Guidelines. So I'll ask you to kindly refrain from using this kind of language.
Having said that, I've forwarded the case to my Sony contact. It shouldn't be long before you hear back again.

At least my remark grabbed your attention.After spending over £5000 sterling i expect a professional customer service from Sony.If the same experience had happened to you i am sure you would not be so outspoken.Look before you leap in future.
