sony fdr ax43 recording on external drive/ PC/ computer

Hi, I have a sony FDR ax43 and I'm trying to directly record on an external drive or PC/ Laptop. I don't see how could happen without a capture card. I have tried using the imaging Edge  - Remote software but with no success, because these ax-43,33,53 camcorders don't have a PC remove option in the USB connection menu. Please give any ideas and how should it be done using the USB or HDMI connection?

According to Sony support, you can only record on an external device via HDMI port connecting the camera to an external HDMI recorder or a Capture Card as you mentioned.
