Where can I download the latest version of the PMB software please?

Hi.

Version 5.8.01 was the last PMB version.

I found only the US version here: Sony.us Support - HDR-CX550V Downloads

Why isn’t so easy to find PMB?

Because Sony “offers” now only PMB’s “successor”, Play Memories Home.

Sony “recommends” Play Memory Home.

(I don’t know if there will be another PMB version!!!). Perhaps, better pass to PMH…

Jan2011 - Thanks so much for that very useful reply. I had not heard of PMH so will download it and give it a try. I hope that it works on Windows 7 unlike PMB! Also hope that it will update the GPS but we'll see.

I'm happy to report that the PMH software loaded easily. I've given it a good workout and all seems to be OK even updating the GPS data.

For me, PMH “works” better than PMB. I even use Win7 and till now, I have no problems.

It solved my problem too jan2011. I just couldn't get PMB to work with Win7.
