Keep getting this error, I have new tapes but cant get them to work

The camera works with old tapres

Any Ideas ?

If is camera Sony, You have instruction what to do on the and of Instruction Manual under Thrubleshooting...there are several error mesage instruction where C error can be handeled on way described in IM and E error are for service. Go there and find solution. If You need page, You have to tell as model of camera.
