I have just bought an XR-42A90K and have 3 devices to connect. They are:
Panasonic UB820EB Blu-ray
Virginmedia Tivio Box
Humax Foxsat HD
Which of the 4 HDMI ports should I connect them to ?
Thanks in advance

Hi @Shetland
These are only useful if you have devices that are capable of outputting 120 Hz. Something like the latest Games Consoles. For ordinary devices like Blu-ray players etc. it makes no difference.
Hi @Shetland
It doesn't matter which HDMI port you use to plug in your devices.
There is an ARC port that can be used for a soundbar or audio equipment. But if you don't have a soundbar or AV Amp then it can be used as normal.
If the TV is prompting you to set up your devices then please Skip that as it is not required.
If any of your devices are HDR compatible then you should set that connected port to Enhanced in the settings. If you don't know what HDR is then simply ignore that instruction.

Many thanks
As none of these are ARC devices, and only one of your HDMI ports has ARC, I would avoid using this port, and use the other three.
It won’t make a blind bit of difference technically, but if you later get a soundbar or an AV amp that does use ARC, you won’t have to swap your cables around, and your current three bits of kit will remain on the HDMI ports that you will grow used to them being on, and won’t have to rename away from what you are about to establish them on.
