I just bought the new Sony A1 which uses Android and won't load Netflix or stream via ChromeCast.
I read this solution from another forum and it worked!
Hold down the green power button (top right of remote) for 10 seconds. The TV will power down and then restart with a reset of Android - I was panicky at first as I thought it would reset the whole TV but it just brings up the Android cogs and then a fresh start of all applications - somehow this has fixed the problem and I can now use Netflix and YouTube without any issues!
After firmware upfrade, power of TV then power on. Netflix should work now. This worked for me. Hpe this helps!
