KD55XF aerial signal issues

Hi I use normal aerial for my TV and keep getting no signal when I turn the TV on.  Sometimes it scans and channels return but at the moment I have no connection at all.  I have previously tried the TV at my neighbours house  and it did not lose signal whilst connected to their normal aerial. I can still connect my old TV and it has signal straight away.  Any advice? Is the TV sensitive and need to be connected to a digital aerial or receiver? I am not interested in sky/virgin connection

I would have your aerial installation checked. Coax needs to be double screened and the aerial needs to be digital compatible (wideband I believe). It certainly sounds like an aerial issue, and with the high pressure weather lately the signal is poor so to recieve it your aerial installation needs to be very good.
