Info button shows Up randomly

Hi my new Sony ZD9 tv randomly pops Up the info panel where you can see resolution, selected input and Screen format. when i change to a tv or hdmi input the info pops Up as it should. but sometimes it pops Up in the middle of a movie for No reason for a couple of seconds and nothing changes on the Screen, playback device and No button is pressed on the remote

info pops up at random times , no rhyme or reason to it .

Happens when on Sky Q , Xbox one s  and PS4 .

Looks like a signal loss.

Did you try different shorter HDMI cables?

I don't know if a 4K HDMI Repeater Extender Booster can help as a temporary solution until Sony fixes issue.

Same device could possibly help people with juddering issue.

thought it was just me... I have same issue on 55” oled

This has been happening for years! The info banner always appears when the audio format changes. Sony appears to be incapable of a fix. The “work-a-round” to stop this annoying info banner is to turn off the info banner. Home -> Settings-> Channel setup -> Info banner -> Off.

 I have an KD-55x720e. This just started after a software update this week. I have tryed 'hideing' the info banner but it still pops up.
