Viewfinder Information Missing

Hi, I have an A200. The row of icons and Steadyshot guide that should be along the bottom in the viewfinder do not appear.

I can't find any options in the menu where I might have turned then off accidentally, and the manual doesn't give me any clues either.

Does anone have any ideas on what maybe causing the icons to be missing?

Thanks,

LS

Hello lawrysimm - Welcome to the Sony Forums

Settings related to the LCD screen can be found from page 114 of the manual which is available here:

http://pdf.crse.com/manuals/3277950151.pdf

In the event that you cannot get it back to the way that you liked it in the past, you could always try a full reset of the camera and this can be done by taking a look at pages 116/117 i.e. you can either reset the recording modes to their defaults or the camera settings in general.

Thanks,

Simon

Simon,

Thanks for your response, but my issue is not with the LCD screen but with the optical viewfinder. There should be a row of icons visible underneath the image in the viewfinder, but mine are now missing. The focus point still lights up red when I half press the shutter, but the green row of icons underneath are no longer visible.

Thanks
