On the A77, Sony supports several lenses for automatic correction (distortion, CA, vignetting etc). This facilty is very good but only works in JPG. Could Sony provide profiles that work for RAW files? Specifically I'm thinking about Adobe Lightroom or ACR for Photoshop. Other RAW converters may also support lens correction and would benefit from Sony's help on this.
Sigma provided Adobe with a complete set of lens correction modules for Lightroom/ACR and these are tremendously useful. It would be great if Sony could do the same for their lenses.
On a similar note, other manufacturers (eg Can*n and Nik*n) get better support for colour profiles in Lightroom/ACR. Canikon RAW shooters can select Standard/Vivid/Neutral/Landscape colour profiles in LR/ACR to match colour output from a RAW and in-camera JPGs. It would be great if Sony could generate a similar set of colour profiles for the A77 etc.
Cheers

Hi Mikeyp
There is alerady full support for the A77 in LR 3.5. However lens correction isn't camera-dependant, so it's really a question of which lenses Lightroom supports.
A list of compatible lenses can be found here. Bear in mind the Adobe Lens Profile Creator is available should your lens not be supported.
Cheers
