I want to make a timelapse of a germinating seed which means I want to shoot for at least 5 days. I am looking for maybe every hour one shot. To my surprise the maximum duration of the interval is only 60seconds. This is no use for plants growing and would take far too many photos. Besides, I cannot even cover 5 days this way.
On my Nikon 750 I can choose seconds or hours for my interval and have full freedom.
Am I overlooking something or is there any other way to use my Sony camera for timelapse of plants growing?
Hi @rjl1955
The free Sony Imaging Edge software can do this.
I've only used it for stop-motion but there is the option to set an interval in hours and minutes.
You'll have to do this via tethered shooting. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3VxXczG7bgA
Good luck!
