Sony Xperia 10 II software
Hello,
I am facing some issues with my Xperia 10 II.
Since the update to Android 12, it moves very very slow.
Here are some of the problems:
- the transition through applications is very slow.
- when I unlock the phone, the clock widget is visible for a second on the main screen.
- when I try to call someone, it takes a while until the call screen appears.
- if I use a black wallpaper, in low light at the top of the screen you see small gray squares instead of black.
- the phone has not received an update since May this year -> main reason for quitting Sony!!
Did anyone confronted with this kind of problems?
Have a nice day!

Hi @AlexManea
Sorry to hear you're facing that, why don't you try the steps here since you started to face all of that after the update: https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/support/mobile-phones-tablets-mobile-phones/xperia-10-ii/articles...
Also, did you try to contact Sony regarding the grayesh squares on your screen, I thin you need to let them know about that if you didn't 🤔

Hello,
My apps are up to date.
I restarted my phone several times in these period of time.
If I buy a Sony, I don't think that I need to do those extra steps to solve my problems.
If i want to make those extra steps, I will buy a Dodgee for way more less money.
I repeat: since May I didn't received any update. We are in August.
When did you received your last update?
About the grayesh squares:
Yes, i already contacted Sony. It isn't about the screen itself. The screen works perfectly fine.
Best regards,

Hi,
Actually, software updates are released at different times depending on the operator, market, region or country, so i don't think they're released to all devices at the same time but you will receive them for sure, it's just a matter of time.

Hello,
I have done a factory reset.
Indeed, it fixed my software bugs but didn't solved the security updates patches > still on May 2022 :).
I give up, I'll never buy a Sony phone in the next decade.

Hi,
I know that updates are coming in by different criterias.
But I have done a factory reset and nothing.
My security patches are still on May 2022.
We are at the end of September. We can't speak about a matter of time.
Don't you think that Sony itself it's the main problem here?
