Wireless WAN is not working

when you open device manager and push the search new hardware button Fig. 2 and Fig. 3 is shown repeteadly...

As a result wireless WAN is not working...

Can you please give us some more information?

  • Which model Vaio do you have?
  • What 3G Internet Data card do you have installed?  I presume it is a mobile internet SIM - a 3G phone SIM will not work.
  • Is the physical wireless switch on the front of your Vaio turned on?
  • Is wireless WAN selected and WLAN turned off in Vaio Smart Network?
  • Is the wireless indicator light illuminated on the front of your Vaio?
  • Any other error messages?

Sorry for so many questions but it is diffiucult to establish what you have already tried.

Reset uour router to manufacturer default (press the reset button for 30+ sec) and start over with the router configuration.
